Kathryn Vasilaky

Professor Vasilaky is a Professor in the Economics Area at Cal Poly’s Orfalea College of Business. Her research is in experimental and development economics, as well as the intersection of data science and econometrics. In her applied work she focuses on economic development via group-based technology adoption, and gender and competition. In her methodological work she focuses on bias correction methods – where the bias may be statistical, user-driven, or algorithmic.
