Professional Certificate in Business Analytics FAQs
- What is the schedule like?
Professional Certificate in Business Analytics is a part-time, interdisciplinary business certificate. The program begins with an intensive summer sessions over a two-week period with classes meeting five days a week, four hours a day. The remaining three courses are completed in the fall, winter and spring quarters with each quarter’s class meeting twice a week, two hours a day. Unfortunately, we no longer offer weekend classes, and cannot guarantee that courses will be available in the evening, though an effort is made to accommodate that schedule when possible.
- Are undergraduates eligible to enroll in the certificate?
No. It is a graduate certificate program. You can apply during your senior year so that you can start the program after you’ve graduated.
- Are GRE or GMAT scores required for this certificate program?
No, test scores are not required for the certificate program.
- Do I need a specific undergraduate degree to apply?
We do not require a specific undergraduate degree. Successful candidates will have a strong technical aptitude with training in statistics, calculus, and computing. Strong communication skills and motivation are also highly valued.
- Will the minimum GPA requirements guarantee admission?
Meeting the minimum GPA requirements of 2.5 may not be sufficient for admission. Most successful applicants will have a GPA above 3.0.
- Are there any courses that are offered online?
No. This is an on-campus program.
