Calvin Stevens
Calvin Stevens teaches courses in Organizational Development and Human Resources subjects with enthusiasm since fall quarter 2014. He has a background in both corporate and university environments, bringing a rich experience from the workplace into the classroom. He comes off a successful 17-year career in a variety of org development consulting and HR roles at Intel Corporation, as well as evenings spent over the last 2 years teaching undergraduate business courses to working adults at Wm. Jessup University in Rocklin, CA.
At Intel, Calvin wrote and delivered curricula, consulted for organizational effectiveness, and supported business units of up to 6000 employees with learning solutions aimed at employee, manager and leader development. At WJU, he taught communications and management courses. At Cal Poly, students in his classes already gain previews of some of the workplace realities they will soon face, including some of the street smarts and nuance needed to thrive in that world.
