DATA ANALYTICS PROJECTS – LEARN BY DOING
Students engage in interdisciplinary activities leading to three completed project, by analyzing real world problems and data provided by our industry partners. Students synthesize ideas and techniques learned throughout the MSBA program.
All projects are team based. Teams are assigned by advisors and faculty with each student’s undergraduate background and core skill set in mind. The students gain valuable experience working effectively in a team for a client in a consultant-like relationship.
Faculty, drawn equally from the technical and management disciplines, provide guidance throughout the project. In addition, there are regular checkpoints and scheduled office hours with the industry partners themselves.
The output is a professional written report, robust data models, and a presentation to industry partners, faculty, and advisors.
